While being filmed for the DVD documentary, on the “Accidental Mummies” exhibit for the Detroit Science Center, I had a chance to observe the mummies upclose. You look for something personal…a habit, or tell tale sign of who they really were inside. Amazingly I discovered there wasn’t a nail biter in the group. Christine discovered that the socks on their feet were in remarkably good shape and had not deteriorated more.
Thanks and kudos to Christine Chambers who without her help I would never have been able to finish on deadline and without such a great exhibit to display of the Accidental Mummies. Her beautiful lines, attention to detailing, and drawings helped to complete most of the full figure drawings.
